Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mynu mobile app ("Mynu," "we," "our," or "us"). By installing or using Mynu, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Mynu is operated by Yijing Hu, an individual ("we"). You can reach us at huyj1109@gmail.com.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mynu. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you can form a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction.

2. Your Account

• You may use Mynu as a guest or by signing in with Apple, Google, or your phone number.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Your Content

Mynu lets you save dishes, photos, activity entries, and other content ("Your Content").

• You own Your Content. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Your Content to us.
• License to operate the app. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, copy, transmit, and process Your Content solely as needed to operate the app for you (for example, syncing across your devices, hydrating images, and enabling sharing features you initiate).
• No marketing or training use. We will not use Your Content for marketing, advertising, or to train machine learning models.
• Where it lives. Signed-in content is stored in your private Apple iCloud database via CloudKit; guest content stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Sharing With Family and Others

Mynu lets you share workspaces with family members or others you invite.

• When you share a workspace, the people you invite can view, add to, and modify the content in that workspace.
• You are responsible for who you invite and for what you choose to share. Only share content you have the right to share.
• Anyone you invite is also bound by these Terms when they use Mynu.
• You can stop sharing at any time using in-app controls or Apple's iCloud sharing settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app to upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, harassing, or that violates someone else's rights or privacy.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app, its security, or its infrastructure.
• Use the app to send spam, malware, or to scrape or harvest data.
• Misuse other people's accounts or sharing invites.

We may suspend or stop providing the app to you if you misuse it.

6. Price

Mynu is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will update these Terms and make pricing clear before you are charged.

7. Third-Party Services

Mynu relies on third-party services to function, including Apple iCloud / CloudKit, Firebase Authentication, and Expo / Apple Push Notification service. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Account Deletion and Termination

• You can delete your account and associated CloudKit data at any time using the in-app "Delete account" flow.
• You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to for legal, security, or operational reasons.

9. Disclaimers

Mynu is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be available or preserved. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Yijing Hu will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Mynu. Our total liability for any claim related to the app will not exceed USD $50.

11. Changes to the App or These Terms

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. When we update the Terms, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are material, we will make a reasonable effort to let you know in the app. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and we agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
